Numerical simulation of rational fault pillar
Based on the effect of F24 huge fault the process of multi-seam mining in Pansan mining spot, as well as the study of different sizes of fault pillar of coal seam 11 # and coal seam 13 () , stress field and evolution of the plastic zone with the use of FLAC3D software, the proper safe coal pillar size has been put forward.It is found in the study that, with the decrease of coal pillar, the plastic zone near fault gradually increases.Proper fault pillar assures the reduction of size of coal pillar in large extent under the circumstances of block up between the plastic zone of stope and the plastic zone of fault.
