Study on improving gas extraction effects using technologies of drainage in downward drilling boreholes of aquifers
Gas extraction is the fundamental measures of preventing and controlling gas accidents in coal mine.In order to increase quantity of gas drainage in aquifers, this paper provides new methods to improve gas extraction effect that is by using combination of block up water grouting process and drainage in downward drilling.According to optimizing parameters of grouting to block up water and using high pressure air to extract water, methane desorption is increased as water content decreased in coal seams.Field experiments shows that gas extraction rate reaches 51.5% and gas extraction effect in downward drilling boreholes have largely improvement by carrying out these new techniques.
