The influence of clay layer to mine pressure behaviors of thin bedrock working face

  In order to solve the problem of safety mining in thin bedrock with thick surface working face in the Zhangji Coalmine, Huainan Mining Industry, the overlying strata movement rules are studied by theoretical and in-situ measurement.The results indicates that the stable of voussoir beam structure have relations with the bedrock thickness and mechanical properties and thickness of surface soil;the overlying clay layer can form a natural equilibrious arch and the clay layer cohesion, internal friction angle and thickness of surface soil over the clay layer are the influential elements for the limit span of natural equilibrious arch.According to the engineering geological conditions of 1611(3) working face in Zhangji Coalmine,Huainan Mining Industry, it shows that the limit span of natural equilibrious arch is 70 m, longer than the first weighing interval 41.4 m and periodic weighting interval 25 m.In the limited advance distance, the natural equilibrious arch can bear the effect of the surface soil to the thin bedrock.This research results has been proved successfully in the field test of 1611 (3) working face.
