A STUDY OF OPTIMAL WORKER ASSIGNMENT WITH THREE ROOKIES UNDER A LIMITED-CYCLE MODEL WITH MULTIPLE PERIODS
In most uncertain cases, the result and efficiency of a certain period (or production cycle) are influenced not only by the risks which exist in current period but also by the risks which exist in the previous ones.Whats more, the risk itself is also affected greatly by the risks which exist in the earlier periods.This kind of problem is called a limited-cycle model with multiple periods.This kind of problem is well known increasingly as a management science recent years.In this paper, we consider the optimal assignment rule with three rookies in order to minimize total of expected risk in a limited-cycle model with multiple periods (LCMwMP).At first, reset model as a simple model of LCMwMP is introduced.Then, the optimal assignment rule of three rookies case in reset model is analyzed by a mathematical approach.Finally, the rules in the other cases are researched by numerical experiments.
