CHANGE-POINT MODELING AND DETECTION METHOD FOR SOFTWARE RELIABILITY ASSESSMENT

  We discuss a framework for software reliability growth modeling with change-point and we develop specific NHPP (Nonhomogeneous Poisson Process) models based on our modeling framework.In our modeling, we assume that the difference of software failure-occurrence phenomenon between before and after change-point can be expressed by using testing-environmental function and we incorporate the uncertainly of the magnitude of change-point for the software reliability.Further, we use Laplace trend test for detecting change-point from fault counting-data.Finally, we check the effectiveness of our proposed models and method by using actual data.
