A HEURISTICS ON SHIP SCHEDULING BY PURE CAR CARRIERS

　　This paper aims to propose a heuristics for making a transportation plan by pure car carriers.Car manufacturers transport finished cars by trailers and pure car carriers.In this paper, we consider transportation by pure car carriers.We formulate a transportation model for a multi-objective mathematical programming problem, and clarify the characteristics on our model.Thereafter, we propose the heuristics by an ant colony optimization (ACO) and clarify the effectiveness of our heuristics from some numerical examples.
