TRADEOFF BETWEEN VALUE AND COST IN ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE DESIGN: A SIMULATION STUDY

摘要：

　　Organizational structure design in an uncertain environment was investigated within the context of trade-off between organizational structure value and information cost.An analytical model was developed to describe the interrelationships among organizational structure, information cost, environmental uncertainty, and organization performance.Our study focused on numerical simulation based on mathematical model.According to the simulation result, a better understanding of the managerial choices for the organizational structure design can be derived.
