Research Report of Hybrid of Yak with Angus Cattle

摘要：

　　The aim of this experiment was to produce F1 hybrids crossed by Angus cattle with domesticated yaks.Female yaks were subjected to artificial insemination by using straw frozen semen of Angus cattle.Results showed that birth weight, body weight in 3 month and body weight in 6 month of F1 hybrids were 17.7kg, 88.54 kg and 97.64 kg, respectively.Compared with young yaks and F1 hybrids of wild yaks with domesticated yaks, F1 hybrids of Angus cattle with domesticated yaks displayed a strong heterosis.
