Optimum sowing date for improvement forage Sorghum × Sudangrass hybrid cultivar production in middle area of Korea

摘要：

　　This study was conducted to understand the effect of sowing date on growth characteristics and dry matter yield and nutritive value (CP, ADF, NDF, Digestibility) of Forage Sorghum × Sudangrass hybrid cultivar.The treatments consist of the 7 sowing dates with 10 intervals from 1 May to 1 July.DMY of forage Sorghum × Sudangrass hybrid cultivar was affected by sowing date.These results indicate that from 1 May to 20 May would be the optimum seeding date for dry matter yield and nutritive value of forage Sorghum × Sudangrass hybrid cultivar in middle area of South Korea.
