Three-dimensional Loaded Dipoles for Applications in Frequency Selective Structures
A three-dimensional(3-D)frequency selective structure(FSS)is proposed,which consists of a two-dimensional(2-D)periodic arrays of loaded strip dipoles.These strip dipoles are loaded along the thickness of the FSS,which leads to certain advantages compared to the conventional 2-D loading.Unit-cell period is greatly reduced,and a relatively stable frequency response is achieved under even a large variation of the angle of incidence.
