Application of origami element in Haute couture design

摘要：

　　Methods of theoretical illustration and instance analysis have been adopted in this paper.Based on demonstrating characteristics of origami element, this paper analyzed the application of origami element in haute couture design from aspects of clothing decoration, design methods, structure and clothing technology by describing the development status of origami element clothing.Finally, this paper concluded that the combination of eastern elements and western elements would be a trend and the origami element which obtained eastern traditional characteristics and met the three-dimensional requirement of western clothing design which would be widely used in clothing design area.
