Research on design of womans body-fitting knitted apparel prototype
Relative to the woven fabric, knitting fabric possesses the characteristics of elastic, thus the detail of it is no longer a simple proportional relationship, the proportion distribution method and the prototype method are no longer applicable in the clothing design.Based on the data of the fabric test and or order to design the fitted parts prototype, four kinds of knitting fabric were tested on elasticity first, then the drape cutting of elastic knitted fabric were conducted on mannequins and human body of different specifications.Thus the different data of fitting knitting prototype pattern were obtained.The analytical method of Mathematical Statistics is used in comparing and analyzing the prototype pattern.Studying the Mathematical Theory of fix measure of body-fitting prototype, the calculation formula of different parts of Womans Body-fitting Knitted Garment Prototype was deduced.The treatment method and the block pattern of knitting prototype pattern were presented.
