Unti-puncture property of 3D woven fabric with high density
3D reinforced fabric is one of the most efficient forms in the fiber composites.Based on the 2D fabric structures, the insertion of yarns in the thickness direction of 3D fabrics improved the inter laminar shear strength and impact properties due to the connection of the multiple layers.Therefore, using 3D fabric, the whole materials would obtain improved CAI value.In the real manufacturing process, the 3D fabric has the advantage of easy design and low cost, which made it convenient to realize the 3D fabric based products.A new type of light puncture-proof clothing with the 3D orthogonal woven structure and the anti-puncture properties was tested in this paper.
