Comparisons of Default Mode Network Connectivity between Resting and Task-State
Functional neuroimaging studies have converged to define a default mode network(DMN)in the brain. There are amount of studies that investigated the anatomical and functional connectivity of the network. Here,we used Bayesian network(BN)learning method to construct the directed effective connectivity model of the DMN,and compared the organization pattern and connection characteristics of brain regions within the network under both resting-state and task-state.The results showed that the organization structure of DMN was basically stable no matter in the resting-state or the task-state.However,the interactions between DMN regions have changed significantly from the resting-state to the task-state condition, suggesting a different working mechanism of the network between the two different states.
