A Unified Analysis for Double Optimal Conditions in Photothermal and Photochemical Biomedical Systems
We present the unified analysis for double optimal conditions in both photothermal and photochemical biomedical systems.Uniform temperature flat-profile(in photothermal systems)with large penetration depth may be achieved by doubly optimized absorption coefficient(A)and focal length(f).Under our unified theory,similar trend is also found for the concentration of the initiator in photochemical processes.The double-optimal conditions for the largest flat-profile depth(z*),characterized by small A and long focal length(f),provide useful clinical guidance for efficient photoinitiated processes,particularly for large volume medium.
