Sleep Level Analysis Based on Neurophysiological Parameters for Real-time Sleep Evaluation
In this study,we presented a method of automatic sleep level analysis.The ultimate objective is to realize the real-time sleep evaluation during the sleep recording process under different recording circumstances.The characteristics of EEG(Electroencephalograph)and EOG(Electrooculargraph)were calculated for every 5-second sleep data.A parameter of sleep level is introduced which is based on the conditional probability.Finally,the sleep data of overnight sleep and daytime nap were analyzed.The obtained analysis result of sleep level has rather good performance to indicate the continuous change from awake to sleep comparing with the visual inspection.The presented method can be usable for real-time sleep evaluation.
