Gait recognition and analysis from frontal view on robotic walker
Gait abnormality might cause elders or people with disabilities to fall or serious injuries in daily life.For this reason,human gait recognition and analysis are important for patient nursing,rehabilitative training,and elderly care in the field of medicine,biomechanics,robotics,and so on.In order to provide a safe walking assistance for elders or patients,we proposed a method to recognize and analyze human gait movement based on the frontal view of lower limbs in the 3D image on an assistive robotic walker.
