Development of tactile stimuli presentation devices to investigate neural mechanisms of tactile perception

Functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)is widely used to measure brain activity and has become an important method for exploring the neural mechanisms behind the human perceptual processing. However,MRI employs intense magnetic fields that are easily disturbed by the presence of metallic objects and conductive materials.
