Detection of Regional Landslide by Using CT-InSAR Technique
Considering the limitations related to the regional landslide detection by Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) technique, this study proposes an advanced Coherence Target InSAR (CT-InSAR) technique. This method can overcome the decorrelation problem through selecting the high coherence targets, including nature and artificial coherence targets.Meanwhile, CT-InSAR technique adopts the double phase difference as the observations to calculate the deformation, which can weaken the orbital and atmospheric errors.Additionally, the residual topographic error is weakened since small spatial baseline is designed in CT-InSAR method. In order to test this method, 18 L-band ALOS-1/PALSAR images are collected to monitor the deformation of potential landslide fields located at the southeast of Chongqing, China. The deformation velocity and time series deformation derived from CT-InSAR method show that four regions present the obvious displacement, indicating they are the potential landslide fields. After detailed analysis of regional terrain and filed investigation, the detected candidate landslide fields are confirmed, suggesting the validation of our method. Our proposed method could provide of the strong support in the regional landslide detection.
