Study on Validation and Comparison of Landslide Susceptibility Assessment
There are more than ten kinds of method to evaluate the susceptibility of landslide. However, an effective method is needed to validate and evaluate the spatial consistency of different results. In the paper, two schemes for assessing the susceptibility of landslide are set up.1) The factors weight are obtained through the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and the susceptibility degree of landslide is evaluated using the Information Model.2) The environmental background factors are decomposed into the uncorrelated principal components by principal components analysis (PCA), and the eigenvalues generated from PCA are normalized to figure out the weight coefficient of each component;then, landslide susceptibility degree is evaluated by Information Model. The paper also sets up a cross-validation method, which is using the 80% landslide hazard sites to evaluate the susceptibility degree and the 20% to validate. The cross-validation analysis results show that the precision of the scheme Ⅱ is better than the scheme Ⅰ.By use of the transfer matrix method, the spatial consistency of two susceptibility assessment map is analyzed. The two schemes Kappa coefficients that reflect the spatial distribution difference of the two susceptibility assessment maps are both calculated and compared.
