Study on Foundation Slope Stability of Yellow River Grand Bridge in Liujiaxia, China
On the basis of detailed investigation about engineering geological conditions of foundation slope of Yellow River Grand Bridge, by utilizing ultimate balance theory and numerical simulation method, this paper analyzed stability of the bridge foundation slope under external loads, especially combined actions of rainfall, earthquake and reservoir water level.The result shows that global foundation slope stability of Yellow River Grand Bridge is high, and overall instability wont occur.Earthquake is the most adverse factor of affecting slope stability and sudden decrease of reservoir water takes the second position.Change of reservoir water level has limited influence on bank slope and displacement caused by increase of reservoir water level is greater than displacement caused by sudden decrease of reservoir water level.The research methods and conclusions have provided some guidance and references for further proposal of scientific and reasonable engineering treatment measures.
