Launch Control Strategy for AMT Vehicles Based on ADRC
Launch control is a complex issue which requires keeping the engine running,making the launch process of the vehicle smooth and fast.According to the diversity and the uncertainty of launch conditions and the complex control requirements,an active disturbance rejection controller(ADRC)is designed by the speed tracking control.Moreover,a model of the clutch system is given based on the dynamics of the system,which is a second-order equation.In order to verify the controllers effectiveness,a powertrain model of a medium-sized truck about AMT vehicles is established.The model includes an engine,a clutch,a transmission,a main reducing gear and wheels.And some simulations are carried out in various working conditions according to the actual situation.Compared the performance to the traditional PID controllers and analyzing the results of simulations,the active disturbance rejection controller provides a good performance in AMT vehicles launch progress and shows good adaptability in various working conditions.
