Ship Electrical Propulsion Control System based on Improved Model-free Adaptive Control

  A novel ship electrical propulsion control system is designed based on an improved model-free adaptive control(MFAC).The improved vector control algorithm is presented based on the higher-order model-free adaptive control,this method can make full use of more ship sailing control information of prievious in order to improve the control performance by introducing higher-order learning law.Then the proposed algorithm is applied to control the speed and torque of ship electrical propulsion system,the control design is model-free and just depends on the I/O data of the system,this makes it adaptable to various sea situations.Simulation results show that both the speed and torque can obtain satisfied dynamic performance.
