Reliability Assessment of Nuclear Power Plant Digital Instrumentation and Control System II:Challenges from Uncertainty of failure data and complexity of system and corresponding research status

  After introducing difficulty of digital instrumentation and control system failure data estimation,its pointed out not only random uncertainty,but also epistemic uncertainty of failure data should be addressed in a systematic way.Advantage,limitation and application status of traditional uncertainty analysis method,Bayesian theory based method,probability theory based method and two dimension Monte Carlo methods are introduced.Challenges rise from its Complexity and large scale character are also discussed in detail,and research status and trend to address these challenges is also given.
