STICKING RESISTANCE STUDY OF VANADIUM TITANO-MAGNETITE (VTM) REDUCTION IN A FLUIDIZED BED WITH COATING METHODS AND ACID LEACHING METHOD

  Steel slag, coke and firebrick powders with high temperature injection coating method and acid leaching method are introduced in this study to investigate the sticking resistance effect during reduction of vanadium titano-magnetite in a fluidized bed.The best performance of steel slag powders was 84.6% of metallization ratio (MR) corresponding to 5% mass fraction of coating amount, coke powders MR 85.7% with 4.5% addition and firebrick powders MR 78.3% with 3% addition.The sticking prevention effect under this experiment conditions didnt show imaginarily a liner relationship with the adding amount of coating agents.There exist an optimal coating amount for every coating agent and the coating effective parameter Ee and the effective coating constant Ex were defined in this study.
