CPFD MODELING OF INDUSTRIAL-SCALE DRY FLUE GAS DESULFURIZATION SYSTEMS
A reaction model was developed for the simulation of industrial-scale dry flue gas desulfurization (DFGD) systems using the CPFD method.The reaction model was validated in lab-scale simulations against experimental data for multiple temperatures and stoichiometric ratios.The applicability of the CPFD reaction model to industrial-scale systems was then demonstrated by the simulation of a large DFGD unit.
