EXPERIMENTAL VERIFICATION OF THE SCALING RULES FOR COLD MODELS OF DIFFERENT SCALES
The paper presents the results of model studies on the hydrodynamics of the supercritical CFB bed boiler Lagisza 460MWe, carried out on 1/10 and 1/20 scale cold models.To reflect the macroscopic flow pattern occuring in the boilers combustion chamber, tests were carried out based on simplified scaling laws.The obtained results show that suspension density profiles measured on the bigger cold model are characterized by the better fitting with respect to the distribution registered in the boiler.
