Advanced Model Eolic-Hydrogen System with Fuel Cell Integrated
The use of techniques for the analysis of power networks, such as power flow analyses, are tools to assess the response of power systems under several conditions; however, these tools must be updated to find efficient solutions in the fusion of distribution networks with renewable generation. In this paper a hybrid wind-hydrogen system model with storage and an integrated fuel cell is proposed. The hybrid system generation model takes into account wind speed; the wind energy conversion system is used to produce electricity which is injected into the network or employed to supply an electrolyzer that generates hydrogen. The hydrogen is then stored, and finally power is generated by the fuel cell embedded in the hybrid system when needed. The model is integrated into a dynamic power flow computer program for distribution systems to investigate its contribution in the power grid and observe its results from the standpoint of active power and feasibility.
