Time Domain AEP Prediction Considering a Yaw Motion of A Wind Turbine

  Before constructing a wind farm at a site,a wind resource assessment should be performed.The measured data including wind speed,direction,pressure and temperature are generally measured and used to predict the annual energy production for a virtual wind farm at the site using a commercial wind farm design program.However,commercial wind farm design programs does not consider the effect of yawing of the wind turbines.They assume that the wind turbines always face the wind and estimate the annual energy production.
