Wind Farming-A Viable Eco-friendly Source Of Energy In India
India, after the Earth Summit,1992 has recognized that it has to make a transition from an economy based on hydrocarbon to one based on renewable sources of energy.Further use of fossil fuel based energies for improved life and development have lead to adverse environmental effects, like climate change. For providing economic growth to raise the standards of living without increasing pollution, irreversibly degrading the environment and accelerating climate change the country is,therefore, pursuing GHG-friendly policies.
