The Study on the Relationship between Leaders Thoughts and the Choices of Strategic Orientation of SMEs

　　This paper clarifies the three different kinds of leaders thoughts models, including adaptive model, aggressive model and guiding model, as well as three respective strategic orientation types, namely, the assignment-orientation type, the opportunity-orientation type and the vision-orientation type.This paper further analyzes the characters of enterprises management on the premise of the three above-mentioned strategic orientations.This study will promote the transformation of leaders thoughts and help the determination of the strategic orientation of Chinese enterprises.Leaders thought is an important internal factor which influence and-determine the choice of strategic orientation.Leaders thought formed during leaders long-term practice is adaptive to their thinking pattern.It provides decision-making perspective, thinking space and ideas during leaders decision-making.And it is the most critical element among the various elements affecting leaders activities.
