A Review of Modern Leadership Theories and Research Prospects

摘要：

　　Based on the review of modern leadership theories, this paper studys charismatic leadership, authenticity leadership, transformational leadership, transactional leadership, ethical leadership, paternalistic leadership and servant leadership.Throught theoretical comparison, a conceptual model of leadership theory is developed.In the model, leadership has three dimensions: the type of subordinates demand satisfied by their leaders, the way of applying power by leaders and the characteristics of leaders behavior.In the end, this paper suggests a new research direction in future.
