A Study on Producer Services Supporting Effect to the Competitiveness of Automobile Industry: an Empirical Analysis based on Chinas Input-output Tables

　　This paper firstly discusses the supporting role played by producer service in automobile industry, then based on 2002 and 2007 input-output table dataset, it analyzes how producer service influences the competitiveness of Chinas automobile industry.It reveals that Chinas automobile industry would increasingly depend on technology-intensive and capital-intensive producer services industry and its competitiveness would greatly rely on the advanced producer services.Finally with the perspective of the interaction between the producer services and manufacturing industry, the paper provides four strategies for promoting the development of Chinas automobile industry.
