Study on Successor Cultivation Based on Family Performance and Business Performance

  This paper presents that the successor of the family business should have four aspects of ability and quality, such as coordination, innovation, risk-taking and social responsibility.The performance of the family business is divided into two dimensions: family performance and business performance.On this basis, the paper proposes the relationship hypothesis between the successor ability and the family performance, and the relationship hypothesis between successor ability and the business performance.The paper sets the training personnel as the control variable.Based on the scale data of 205 questionnaires in Hebei province, the paper makes the empirical study.Empirical conclusions show that coordination, innovation, risk-taking and social responsibility have positive impact on the family performance and business performance, the training personnels impact on the relationship between the successor ability and performance is not significant.
