A Study of China Urbanization and the Model of Rural Old-aged Support

摘要：

　　Based on concluding former scholars controversies about rural old-aged support models, the paper analyzes the current impact on traditional rural old-aged support model and looks into the future development tendency from the perspective of urbanization.And based on that, stepping from the theories such as symbolic interactionism paradigm, hierarchy of needs theory, law of diminishing marginal utility, exploring the balanced relations between material needs and spiritual needs generated by the rural old-aged, then proposing the idea of establishing a new model of rural old-aged support system, and accessing the prerequisites, advantages and latent problems when the new model is implemented.
