Ultra Long-Haul Transmission of a 1-Tb/s LDPC-Coded DFT-S OFDM-8PSK Superchannel over 12,160 km
Using a newly designed low density parity check(LDPC)code,we demonstrate ultralong-haul transmission of a 1.031-Tb/s superchannel over 12,160-km standard single mode fiber,consisting of 152 Raman-amplified 80-km spans,at a spectral efficiency of 3.76 b/s/Hz.
