AWG and Remotely Pumped EDFA based Wavelength-selectable Self-seeded Fabry-Perot Laser Source with High Mode-locked Stability

  A wavelength-selectable laser source employing self-seeded Fabry-Perot laser diode,array waveguide gratings(AWG)and remotely pumped EDFA(RP-EDFA)for uplink transmission in wavelength-division-multiplexed passive optical network(WDM-PON)systems is proposed and experimentally validated.
