Estimate the Embodied Carbon Emissions in Chinese Commodity Exports to Europe
The low-carbon economy has become increasingly concerned by the international community in the development of the economy, it is necessary to adopt a low-carbon means.Rapid economic development in China is behind the gradually expand the scale of energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions associated with their enormous.In this paper, input-output method for Chinese exports to the EU is calculated on embodied carbon, obtained in 2011 Chinese exports to the EU, the embodied carbon sector is more general, special equipment manufacturing, electrical equipment manufacturing, chemical industry, plastics and rubber industry, and textiles.Then, the analysis of the export goods to the EU level of embodied carbon from the department, and propose relevant measures in export commodity structure.
