Experimental Study on the Transcritical CO2 Heat Pump Systems
In order to study the effects of ejector and internal heat exchanger(IHX)on transcritical CO2 heat pump system performance,a prototype of transcritical CO2 heat pump water heater was developed.Experimental research on conventional transcritical CO2 heat pump system(TCHS),transcritical CO2 heat pump system with internal heat exchanger(TCHSI),transcritical CO2 heat pump system with ejector(TCHSE),and transcritical CO2 heat pump system with both internal exchanger and ejector(TCHSEI)was carried out in this paper.Performances of the four heat pump systems under different heated water temperatures were investigated.The optimum working conditions for each system were discussed.Heating coefficients of the four systems under the optimum working conditions were compared.Experiment results showed that ejector and internal heat exchanger can improve the system performance under certain working conditions.
