Optimization and Design of the Optical Properties of Triangular Cavity Absorber of Solar Trough System
A theoretical analytical method for the optical properties of triangular cavity absorber is provided in this paper,and the TracePro is adopted to simulate the influence of the aperture width,depth-to-width ratio,focal offset of triangular cavity absorber and trough systems rim angle on optical properties.It is finally found that the triangular cavity absorber can achieve better optical properties when these factors are of appropriate values.An optimized simulation and relative analysis are made on the results of single factor experiment,and a new type triangular cavity absorber is designed.Under the conditions when the direct radiation is 1034 W/m2,CCD(charge-coupled device)was adopted for testing the inner surface irradiance of the new absorber,and Matlab was used for treatment and analysis,then the irradiance distribution curve of inner surface of the triangular cavity absorber was gained,and the irradiance increases firstly and then decreases with the increment of the position away from the symmetry axis,the maximum irradiance reached 12820 W/m2 at the position away from the symmetry axis by 8 mm,and the optical efficiency,the average irradiance,and standard deviation of irradiance are 85.54%,5320 W/m2 and 3717 respectively.
