Performance Analysis of Micro Gas Turbine Fueled Biomass Gas
Micro gas turbine-based distributed energy supply system fueled with biomass gas has got the wide attention due to its broad application prospects. When applied to a conventional micro gas turbine, the different composition and calorific value of biomass gas will have a huge impact on the performance of the conventional micro gas turbine. In this paper, the detailed thermodynamic calculation of a 30KW micro gas turbine fueled with various biomass gas is conducted. With the consideration of the match between the flow rate of fuel and the compressed air and the flow rate match between the main components of the conventional micro gas turbine, the performance of the micro gas turbine fueled with each kind of biomass gas is analyzed.Under the given turbine inlet temperature condition, the impact of the cycle pressure ratio on the efficiency of the reheated Brayton cycle is studied, then the optimal design parameters of the micro gas turbine for different biomass gas are discussed. The results have certain directive meaning toward the design and development of micro gas turbine fueled with biomass gas.
