Experimental study on CO2 thermal desorption in packed tower
The research on CO2 desorption from ammonium bicarbonate solution were carried out in a packed tower.Some influencing parameters including reaction temperature,solution concentration,and the molar ratio of carbon to ammonia were investigated.The optimum reaction conditions for CO2 desorption and some characteristics of CO2 desorption were gotten.On this basis,the influence of packing on the energy consumption for CO2 desorption was explored.The results show that the desorption performance of ammonium bicarbonate solution is improved with the increasing concentration of ammonium bicarbonate,molar ratio of carbon to ammonia and desorption temperature,and the changing curve of CO2 desorption proportion in packed tower with temperature shows a linear distribution.
