The Developing Trend and Status of Three Dimensional Printing Technology

　　Three dimensional printing is a process of making a three dimensional solid object of virtually any shape from a digital model.It is considered distinct from traditional machining techniques, which mostly rely on the removal of material by methods such as cutting or drilling.3D printing has a bright future, not least in rapid prototyping, but also in the manufacture of many kinds of plastic and metal objects, in medicine, arts, and outer space.This technology will bring a great manufacturing revolution.In this paper, we review the history and status quo of 3D printing tech-nology, and analyze the potential of 3D printing technology.It showed that this technology will bring the great challenge and opportunities to China manufacture industry.
