Economic Analysis on Reelwell Drilling Method In Deep Water

摘要：

　　Reelwell Drilling Method(RDM) is a reelwell drilling technology with dual concentric drill strings and supporting equipments.Based on the characteristics of deep water drilling technology,this paper presents the potential advantages of this technology and analyzes the technical feasibility and economics of this new method in deep water drilling.As a new technology ,it has a series of advantages,such as wellbore structure simplified, expansion liner, lower load requirements of platform, decreases the cost of deep water drilling with less consumption of drilling fluid and casing materials, and increases the drilling efficiency.Therefore, the prospect of this technology is positive.
