Unified Model of Heat Transfer for Gas-Liquid Flow in Upward Vertical Annuli
A unified model of multiphase heat transfer is developed for different flow patterns of gas-liquid flow in upward vertical annuli. The required local flow parameters are predicted by use of the unified hydrodynamic model for gas-liquid flow recently developed by Yu and Zhang (2010).The model prediction of the pipe inside convective heat transfer coefficients are compared with unified zhang model (2006) for a gas-liquid system in upward vertical flows by using the hydraulic diameter and good agreement is observed.
