　　Nowadays, Installation of riser and cable conduit accounts for a large part of offshore oil engineering work.In this paper, we mainly introduce the installation technology on riser clamps for platform upgrading, including the different forms of clamps, process of fabrication and installation.The equipment which be used usually in the process of clamps installation is be summarized simply.
