Quantitative Risk Analysis of Simplified Subsea Chemical Injection System
Subsea chemical injection system treats blockage problem in the subsea production system.It is important to treat problem fast,because production delay causes a fatal loss of profit in the subsea production system.Therefore,the subsea industry requires relatively higher reliability level of production system than other industries.In this study, subsea chemical injection system (linked to control system) to inject chemicals into subsea X-mas tree is analyzed.By using FSA (Formal Safety Assessment) ,risk factors are defined and quantitative risk analysis utilizing FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) and ETA (Event Tree Analysis) is performed.As a result,effectiveness for risk reduction option is evaluated.
