TWO QUICKER WORKERS OPTIMAL ASSIGNMENT UNDER A LIMITED-CYCLE PROBLEM WITH MULTIPLE PERIODS

  In most uncertain cases, the result and efficiency of a certain period (of a production cycle) are influenced not only by the risks which exist in current period but also by the risks which exist in the previous ones.Whats more, the risk itself is also affected greatly by the risks which exist in the earlier periods.This kind of problem is called a limited-cycle problem with multiple periods.This kind of problem is well known increasingly as a management science recent years.In this paper, we consider the property of the two quicker workers optimal assignment with minimized total of expected risk in a limited-cycle problem with multiple periods (LCPwMP).First, reset model as a simple model of LCPwMP is introduced.Then,the property of two quicker workers optimal assignment in reset model is summarized.Finally, the property is proved by a mathematical approach and the properties in the other cases are researched by Erlang distribution based numerical experiments.
