A SOLUTION OF IMPROVEMENT IN PRODUCTION PLANNING USING BAYESIAN ESTIMATION
Almost every manufacturing site has been supported by a lot of part-time, temporary, or midcareer personnelgiven the poor state of the economies all over the world. And expert managers of front-line workers must design more complex production planning strategies that take urgent orders into consideration. Therefore, the purpose of our study is to develop production planning models using the inference method suggested by Mahadevan et al.on the study of architecture field, and to verify our solution in production planning that can take urgent orders into consideration.First, what overflowed work element moves to another process is assumed as Dummy Moving Element (DME).Next, DME estimation analysis and improvement using branch and bound method and Bayesian estimation are discussed. Finally, the effectiveness of our model is verified by a numerical experiment.
