ANALYZING CO-OPETITION DYNAMICS OF A COMPLEX ADAPTIVE SUPPLY NETWORK USING CELLULAR AUTOMATA : A RESEARCH FRAMEWORK
In this paper we discuss a research framework to investigate co-opetition relationship dynamics in a complex adaptive supply network using cellular automata simulation model.This paper discusses the detail of agent behaviors, their environment parameters and their decision making process overtime that being structured using prisoners dilemma game.This framework can hopefully help to answer questions of co-opetition strategy evolvement such as: in what condition co-opetition in the supply network will emerge and last longer? And in what condition coopetition stronger than competition in the supply network and vise verse? We expect to validate our findings using archival case-study from several references.The experimental work is now in progress and the results and analysis of this work will be presented during the conference.
